Pro Build Custom Program
This program was designed for the person with a burning desire to build their bike from the ground up. Tell us what expectations you have and what exactly you want to achieve with the bike, and we will make it happen. This is the same program we have used to build truly custom frames for countless elite athletes over the years.
The intent of Lynskey Performance designs is to use our history of design experience and frame building expertise to bring bicycle customization to new levels of technology and availability. We customize your performance, your aesthetics, and your fit. Our custom bikes are not defined by model names but rather by levels of performance.
We offer 4 levels of customization for each frame category to further define the specific needs and expectations that you require. You'll go through a personal "performance-based" interview with David Lynskey to discuss what you want your bike to do. You'll also discuss finishes and graphics with our graphics professionals. We'll offer as much or as little help as you want throughout the process. Our full customization options have no model names. They are truly one-off custom works of engineering art.
LEVEL ONE: This performance style is centered around the sport rider. We use double and triple butted 3/2.5 titanium tubing for a lighter frame and an increased stiffness-to-weight ratio. If you decide to ride with the fast group or participate in the occasional competitive event, this is the version you want. The base price includes a natural satin finish. Unlimited paint and finish options are available.
LEVEL TWO: This level is perfect for the enthusiast with a more "spirited" or aggressive riding style, but still considers comfort an important priority. The 3/2.5 titanium tubeset undergoes both butting and multi-shaping. We use different shapes in different locations to more specifically effect the style of performance. While not uncomfortable, the ride of this frame is more firm and completely at home in competition. The base price includes a natural satin finish. unlimited paint and finish options are available.
LEVEL THREE: This style represents a fairly significantly jump in high-performance as compared to levels 1 or 2. The level 3 is designed for the serious amateur or professional competitor. The level 3 was designed for use on aggressive club rides, stage racing, open road racing, criteriums, all grand and pro tour road events. Built to withstand aggressive accelerating, braking, and cornering, this level possesses the stiffness, lightweight and durability required to withstand the rigors of high-performance competition. Our proprietary tube shaping processes allow us to create a frame that is unsurpassed in stiffness, high-speed handling, durability and lightweight. LEVEL FOUR: This level provides a frame that is 100% competition oriented. if going fast is the priority, this is the level you want. We offer either 6al-4v titanium alloy or our new helix technology in the tubesets. Depending on your performance expectations we provide the material with the best combination of stiffness and durability in the cycling world–period! We multi-shape the tubeset to very specifically "dial-in" the performance expectation of the frame. Should you have a unique fit need or want a frame built for a specific racing style you will want to choose a fully customized design.
