Level 3 triathlon/time-trial designs focus on rider positioning and fit, efficient energy transfer, lightweight and over-all aero-dynamics. On triathlon specific designs, especially long course, it is also very important to take into account rider comfort.

- Internal cable routing on downtube
- Choice of curved/ovalized or straight seatstays
- Rear-Entry dropouts with adjuster screws
