Details
The Helix Di2 is a high performance machine ready for you to stomp on it and blast off. The Helix shaped tube set provides an enormous overall balance of performance characteristics with the least amount of compromise that you are forced to expect in many other frame designs. With Di2 technology, shifting is even easier and more precise - just a light tap, as soft as a mouse click, is sufficient for the front or rear derailleur to instantaneously select the correct gear. The front and rear derailleurs provide quick and accurate shifting in all conditions. In conjunction with STI levers, the powerful Ultegra brakes have a feathery touch. Mavic’s Aksium wheel set combines the durability of everyday hoops with the ability to rip it up on race weekend.
Helix pro series geometry is racy, yet stable and throws in the “magic” of titanium for comfort over long miles of tough training and racing. The frame utilizes a Helix down tube, top tube and seatstays which resist torsional forces and impart excellent stability, precise handling and a power to the pedals that will no doubt remind you why you chose to start riding in the first place.

There are many unique features that make the HELIX superior to conventional bicycle designs. At first glance you will notice the spiral shaped tube design that adds significant stiffness to the structural integrity of the tube without adding additional weight. The HELIX shaped tubeset provides the rider with the highest overall balance of performance characteristics with the least amount of compromise that you are forced to expect in many other frame designs.
Different forces occur when braking, accelerating, climbing and descending. It was our challenge to create a tubeset that best handles all of these various force vectors and create a harmonious balance between them with minimal compromise. More force can be applied to the frame without any loss in pedal efficiency or sacrifice in performance. Not to mention the unmatched durability that only titanium can offer. No longer do you have to sacrifice handling or performance strictly for weight savings. Welcome to the new era in titanium bicycle fabrication brought to you exclusively from Lynskey Performance.
For years, I have always chuckled at bike reviews that claim "the bike seemed to accelerate up hills with every pedal stroke" -because I have never ridden anything that really felt like that-until now. This thing truly is a rocket! It goes where you point it and the ride plenty acceptable for a full on race bike (it is currently shod with silk tubular tires-so that helps). The Campy EPS shifts as slick as Di2, although one can shift up or down the cogset by holding either button down, which one cannot do with DI2. Also, having the two shift buttons separate may be an advantage when riding with gloves or for those riders accustomed to a thumb button. All in all a great combination! -Rodd Wagner - Branford Bike in Seattle
Agreed, the Helix really is something special....-Brandon Elliot - Iron Cycles in Chicago

Levers
With Di2 technology, shifting is even easier and more precise - just a light touch, as soft as a mouse click, is sufficient for the front or rear derailleur to instantaneously select the correct gear. Shimano riders will be used to them immediately since all the buttons are in the same place as on regular levers. The distance between the lever and the handlebar is adjustable. This makes it extremely easy to brake and shift even for riders with smaller hands.
Front Derailleur
The front derailleur's operation is pioneering. Smooth shifting is guaranteed thanks to a microchip communication link with the gear levers. What's more, shifting the rear derailleur automatically trims the front derailleur. This ensures that the chain never rubs. Its rigid construction guarantees swift, silent, smooth shifting even under the most demanding of conditions.
Rear Derailleur
The rear derailleur is pre-programmed allowing you to shift gear quickly and accurately in all conditions. The derailleur is immune to rough circumstances and protected from impact damage by its reinforced inner cage. It has a maximum sprocket of 28T for wide-range gearing.
Battery (mounted below the downtube waterbottle mount.)
The battery forms the Di2's heart. Its lithium ion technology guarantees a range of at least 2,000 km [1,250 miles] after which it can be fully recharged in just ninety minutes. The battery's status can be read from an indicator next to the handlebars so that you'll never be confronted with any unpleasant surprises. Derailleurs can also be reset or trimmed from this control unit.
Brake Calipers
Exceptionally powerful, adjustable and controlled application. Braking is now even more powerful and faster thanks to a modified cable inlet. In conjunction with STI levers, these brakes provide the ultimate in stopping power. Improved compound brake shoes have improved braking in wet conditions by 100%. A light touch of the brakes going into a bend or a full-on emergency stop… either is possible thanks to the brakes' controlled application.
