Are balloons a harmless joy or an environmental disaster?
Hey everyone! I wanted to start a discussion about something we see at almost every celebration but rarely think twice about: balloons. On one hand, they bring instant color, nostalgia, and joy to birthdays, weddings, and festivals. On the other hand, the environmental toll of balloon releases and litter is becoming impossible to ignore, with marine life and wildlife paying the price. Can we find a truly eco-friendly middle ground, or is it time to phase out balloons for good? What are your thoughts?

Man, the struggle with scattered phone notes and screenshots is so real! I used to do the exact same thing until I started using Notion to log gift ideas by person and occasion right when they mention it. It saves so much stress. Lately, though, I’ve also been trying to focus more on the presentation side of gifting to make things memorable, like using giant foil letters to spell out a name or clue for the big reveal. I grabbed some from https://balloons.online/mylar-foil-balloons/letter-balloons/big-letter-balloons/ for my brother’s graduation party, and they were massive and stayed inflated for weeks. Definitely pairs well with a solid tracking system!
